Calderdale school is set to star in new CBBC series

Ryburn Valley High School stars in a new series of a CBBC TV show that follows students making the transition from primary school to secondary school.

Our School, now in its sixth series, heads to Calderdale to follow a new group of students.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary series follows the ups and downs of a group of year seven pupils as they make the important transition between primary and secondary school.

Cameras began filming at the school, near Sowerby Bridge, back in September 2019 for the sixth series of the CBBC show.

Viewers will get a glimpse at school life in Calderdale from art lessons to school shows.

Previous series of the CBBC programme have followed students from Sheffield, Birmingham and Wales.

Our School will be on CBBC on Wednesday, August 26 at 5.25pm and also available on BBC iPlayer.
