I write about business - more shops and pubs than steelworks these days - plus politics and transport where they all overlap, like the Clean Air Zone. I like a campaign, and once got HS2 re-routed into Sheffield city centre as part of a citywide effort, until the inevitable happened. I ran a business magazine covering Sheffield City Region for a few years and it was exciting to bring all the chambers and politicians together. We even set up a business awards, one of three I’ve had a hand in starting. Action Desk was a consumer page that fought for readers up against big business. It is long gone, but the same principle applies to my focus today on Excel Parking - all my stories are here. https://www.thestar.co.uk/topic/excel-parking
