Owner Charlotte Shaw said: “We’ve come to realise that tough times call for simple pleasures and receiving a surprise parcel in the post, knowing that someone is thinking of you, really makes your day in lockdown! A seriously good treat to enjoy with a cuppa is one of the small positives we can still enjoy at the moment, a little pick-me-up in our days staying at home.”

Founded over 100 years ago by her great aunts, Charlotte is the third generation of her family to run the Yorkshire bakery and the team has worked continuously throughout the last year to lift the nations spirits with their mail order baked goods.

The innovative bakery team has also created a Gingerbread Heart Decorating Kit for children as a fun activity to do in between home schooling.

Charlotte added: “We’ve baked the biscuits... so you can decorate them! Whether you’re looking for a relaxing activity – icing emerged as the lockdown creative trend of 2020 – or if your kitchen has been the war zone of home-schooling and lockdown baking, then this could be a welcome break from cleaning up.”

The kit includes everything you need to decorate the biscuits before sending as a gift using the box and decorating the lid.
