The move to their new office at The Ridings Business Park in Hopwood Lane has created several new positions within the company.

Eclipse are one of Yorkshire’s largest installers of government-funded boilers but have seen the most growth in demand for their services from customers wanting a range of energy efficient improvements, from insulation to conservatory roof conversions.

Eclipse have worked across West Yorkshire installing energy efficient measures in homes, both domestically and as part of large government contracts. They are the main sponsor of Halifax Rugby League, and won the 2019 Halifax Courier Sustainable Business of the Year Award.

Mark Bannister, Managing Director at Eclipse Energy, commented “The significant increase in demand for our services is down to the holistic approach we’ve taken with our customers. Our goal isn’t to install one particular product or measure, but to determine on a case by case basis what’s best for our client’s properties”

“We believe that’s what customers want first and foremost, it’s about making homes more energy efficient, reducing our customers’ bills and creating great spaces to live in.”

This holistic approach has facilitated the hiring of qualified Chartered Surveyor Martin Lennox (MRICS) to the team. Martin commented “it’s great to work with the team at Eclipse to help improve the housing stock across Yorkshire. We’re not a window company, or a heating company, we’re specialists in improving properties and making them more energy efficient, no matter what measure is required”.

The expansion of the company comes just before the launch of the government’s Green Homes Grant scheme, a £2bn fund providing between £5,000 and £10,000 of grants for homeowners and landlords across the country to make improvements to their home. With a wide range of services on offer, Eclipse expect it to see even further growth over the next 6 months.

“People are already aware of Green Homes Grants, and we’ve been inundated with calls about how we can help” Mark added. “We can’t wait to work with people across Yorkshire to access the funding and do even more to help reduce emissions across the county”.
