“At the end of our second week with everyone back at school we really look forward to all joining together online as each class celebrates the return to full opening on Comic Relief day.

“We will be holding virtual parents’ evenings a few weeks after the full reopening so that all parents can be properly involved, understand and support our work with their children.

“I would like to thank all of the Greetland staff for their ongoing dedication and hard work during these challenging times plus the Greetland parents for the fantastic support and understanding they have shown throughout the pandemic. I am also very proud of all of our children.”

“Whilst attendance across all our schools throughout the current lock down has been way in advance of national averages, and our remote learning experience has been praised by Ofsted, we know that the best place for our young people to be is in school.

“Over the next two weeks we will plan a wider reopening for the remainder of the academic year, both ensuring any lost learning is quickly identified and remedied as well as promoting the wider curriculum and extracurricular activities that our young people have so missed during recent times.”
