Ling Bob School in Pellon has closed due to positive Covid-19 tests among their staff.

The school say they will re-open after half-term.

In a statement, headteacher Phil Simpson said: “A number of staff at Ling Bob School have recently tested positive COVID 19.

“Having consulted with the local authority, Public Health England and in adherence with the school’s COVID risk assessment, the regrettable decision has been made to close the school to all children for operational reasons.

“Ling Bob will re-open for the children of key workers and vulnerable children after half-term.

“Remote learning is in place for all pupils.”
