School boasts social ethos

Students created an event which raised awareness of smoking and drinking; skin cancer and melanoma; and mental health.

School examinations officer, Karen Rawling, said: “The groups worked extremely hard to raise awareness and to secure sponsorship from local businesses.”

Students raised £893 for their chosen charities: The Macular Society; Cancer Research and Mind Charity - and still money is being collected. Students and staff wish to thank sponsors for their generosity.
