5. Bus station
Before it was moved to its current location on Winding Road, Halifax bus station was located at Crossfield, where the job centre is now. Here is a picture of the bus station back in the 1950s.
6. Odeon Cinema
Over the years this Halifax town centre building has housed and Odeon Cinema and Mecca Bingo.
7. Trinity Road
Now standing tall in Halifax town centre, here is a picture of when Halifax Bank headquarters was built at Trinity Road back in the 1970s.
8. Speedway track
Anyone remember when The Shay Stadium had a speedway track? The track was built in 1949 and attracted tens of thousands to watch the Halifax Dukes race.
