5. Coliseum
Once Liquid and now Atik, Coliseum was a staple on a Halifax night out for many years. For almost 20 years up to 2007 the club, which also featured Maine Street (now Vinyl), welcomed many revellers through its doors.
6. Cookies Bar
Located in Union Cross Yard off Princess Street in Halifax town centre, Cookies Bar often featured live music nights. The venue underneath Bar Up closed a few years ago.
7. Crossleys Bar
Back in the eighties the Crossleys Bar in Dean Clough was one of Halifaxs top nightspots. Over the years the location has also been the Design House, John Crossley Bar and now Babar Khan Restaurant.
8. Deja Vu
Deja Vu on Waterhouse Street was a modern style bar that sat across from the Acapulco nightclub. It's now a chicken restaurant which recently featured in an episode of Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge.
