9. Gladstones
Gladstones was a bar and nightclub that was located round the back of the Railway. The property was damaged back in 2003following a fire at the Victoria Hotel on Horton Street.
10. Hairy Lemon
Sitting in a prime position on Lord Street, Hairy Lemon was a popular bar that also served tapas style food. The venue shut back in 2012.
11. Jumpin Jaks
Jumpin Jaks, formerly the ABC cinema, opened its doors in 2002 and was a popular club in the town for almost eight years. It rebranded as The Groove in 2009 but closed its doors less than a year later. The venue is now known as Mcflys.
12. Crown and Anchor
This venue on the corner by Bull Green roundabout has been known by a few names over its 150 year history. The former pub was known for years as the Crown and Anchor until it became the Adega, the Continental Bar, Heaths and now Koko's.
