Brighouse neighbours celebrate with lottery win close to Christmas

Two people in Brighouse are celebrating today after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The neighbours netted the windfall when their HD6 postcode was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery yesterday (Wednesday).

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: “Brilliant news for all of our winners today in Brighouse!

"Congratulations, I hope you enjoy spending the cash!”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of Youth Music which has received over £6.5 million worth of funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Youth Music is a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
