Catch Harrogate is currently open for takeaway, but will open its doors completely May 18, following a £250k refurbishment.

This is the third opening for Catch in the last 12 months, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. They opened two sites in Leeds last year, Catch Headingley in August and Catch Street Lane in October.

They also have restaurants in Holmfirth and West Vale and plans for further expansion throughout Yorkshire and the North of England.

All of Catch’s restaurants have been operating as takeaways for the majority of the last 12 months, but Catch have still been able to enjoy success and expand during what has been an extremely challenging year for the hospitality industry.

Managing Director, Sarah Stuttle, said “Like many others, we were devastated to have to close back in March 2020, but thankfully we have had great support from our customers throughout the pandemic. We have been able to continue as planned with our expansion, and looking back, although it’s been a challenge, it’s also a huge achievement and a testament to the Catch brand.”

Catch Seafood is the latest in a long line of family fish and seafood businesses which spans nearly a century. They are passionate about seafood and take pride in sustainably sourcing only the freshest and highest quality fish, with a menu varying from traditional fish and chips to healthy seafood dishes.

Catch aims to serve its customers in a relaxed and contemporary setting, perfect for every occasion, from a midweek family dinner to weekend date night. Their drinks list includes a range of specially selected wines, spirits, beers, ales and seasonal cocktails, and exclusive to Harrogate is a brand new Champagne and Oyster Bar.

Sarah Stuttle commented “We’re optimistic about the future as our restaurants begin to open this month. We can’t wait to welcome back our loyal customers, and some new friendly faces in our more recently opened sites.”
