Halifax restaurant launches Cook at Home Valentine's Box that also includes breakfast

The specially created Valentine’s Cook at Home Box features six Tapas style dishes, four cocktails, a bottle of wine and chocolate-dipped strawberries, the food and drink package is complete with breakfast for the following morning.

The True North Valentine’s Box is now on sale exclusively at Goodeats (charliesgroceries.co.uk) and is priced at £85 (serves two).

The Menu and the cocktails were created by the Team at True North.

Sarah Horsley, Restaurant Executive Director said “We’ve combined our expert cocktail-making skills with our fantastically popular Friday Social Menu Style to bring you a Date Night with a difference. And we include pancakes for breakfast too. The True North Valentine’s Box follows the outstanding success and rave reviews of our New Year’s Eve Boxes.

"We’re certainly missing our customers. We’d normally be looking forward to welcoming them into the restaurant for a romantic Valentine’s Dinner. This year, we may not be able to open our doors but we’ll certainly be cooking up some delicious dishes in our kitchen that will make their way to our customer’s homes.

"We freshly prepare our Cook at Home Range of Meals at True North and then use our local distribution partner, Charlie’s Groceries, to deliver them for us. Charlie’s Champion local Halifax High Street businesses and help them connect with Halifax and surrounding area communities.”

The menu features two types of cocktails, two french martinis and two Cosmopolitans, as well as a bottle of red wine, white wine, or prosecco.

There is then the choice of the meat/fish menu and the veggie menu, each featuring six dishes.

The evening is finished off with chocolate-dipped strawberries.

The box also includes breakfast for the following morning which is American-style pancakes with maple glazed blueberries.

The True North Valentine’s Box can be delivered within a seven-mile radius of Brighouse or collected from The Arches Events Venue at Dean Clough Mills.
