Shedding a little more light on your garden

Even the tiniest of spaces can be turned into an exotic, relaxing alfresco haven with the right lighting.

Some of the biggest outdoor lighting trends to emerge this summer include large, ‘statement centre piece’ floor luminaires for lawns in natural metal patinas of steel, bronze and silver. Copper and brass shielded lights that showcase the landscaping but hide the light source are proving popular for flowerbeds too.

And Accent lighting on walls created by vintage lanterns in Hematite finishes or more traditional looks in antique gold are being placed low to up-light architectural features and up high to mimic moon-light.
