A new world in the Brighouse high street
Poundworld has moved into the former vacant unit in King Street which was formerly occupied by the clothes retailer Peacocks.

Hide AdOpening on Thursday October 15 at 10am, the new store and will be the 299th store to open in the chain, creating 30 local retail jobs for the area.
Area manager Jamie Barley said: “We’re delighted to be opening our first store in Brighouse creating 30 new jobs for the town in the process.
“We offer huge savings to over 2 million customers every week and we’re excited to be able to offer that same incredible value to Brighouse locals.

The family-run company that started on a Wakefield market stall will offer local shoppers a ‘value’ alternative to other high street retailers.
In 2014, Poundworld made the prestigious Sunday Times ‘Top Track 250’ list and was named one of the nation’s fastest growing companies of the year.
