Accident causes gridlock in Brighouse
Disruption hit Brighouse after an accident between two vehicles meant Huddersfield Road had to be closed in both directions this evening (Tuesday).
The incident before 17.13pm involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Yamaha scooter – the driver of which is thought by police to have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It caused gridlocked traffic between Gooder Lane junction and the Lord’s Lane junction.
The road has now been re-opened, police have confirmed.
