Arty shots shine a light on works
Captured by Bruce Cutts, of the upper Calder Valley photograpic project After Alice, the artistic shots reveal the beauty to be found in the most unlikely of places.
The works, which cost more than £200,000 were carried out on the A646 Market Street and Bridge Lanes in the town.

Mark Thompson, Calderdale Council’s director of economy and environment, said: “This is a very well-used length of road, but with this investment we should not need to do any further maintenance work for another ten years, which is good news for regular commuters and local businesses. It will also create an improved road surface, with clearer markings to help keep road users safe.”
