Brighouse back to normal following yesterday’s power cuts
Households in Brighouse are now back to normal after a power cut wiped out the HD6 postcode for a number of hours.
1,700 customers were affected by the power cuts yesterday. (Saturday) which saw Northern Power Grid engineers deal with the problem.
The company managed to partially restore some supplies before workers continued to carry out repairs and full power was restored by 5pm.
The power cuts came as a result of a fault on the electricity network supplying the area.
