Cigarettes stolen from Co-op in Rastrick

A quantity of cigarettes have been stolen from the Co-op in Rastrick.

Firefighters from Brighouse were called to the supermarket in Highfield Road after neighbours noticed smoke coming out of the building.

When they arrived they realised it had been a break in and it was in fact a security system known as a smoke cloak.

Police were called at 4.20am this morning (Monday). They are appealing for any information about the burglary or the two suspects who escaped. They were both wearing dark clothing.
