Cold day ahead in Calderdale

Any early mist or freezing fog will slowly clear, with most parts having a dry but cold day with good sunny spells. Maximum Temperature 4C.

A frost will soon return during the evening, and a dry night will follow with some good clear spells, and just the chance of the odd mist patch. Minimum Temperature -5C.

There is heavy traffic on A644 Wakefield Road into Brighouse at the A643 Clifton Road junction.

West Yorkshire Police are warning motorists to take care this morning with more ice and frost on the roads from overnight. First West Yorkshire are reminding passengers that on Monday December 29 and Tuesday December 30 a Saturday timetable will be running with some exceptions.
