Crews tackle blaze in Brighouse
Firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict building in Birds Royd Lane, Brighouse, last night.
Crews from Brighouse and Huddersfield were called to the fire in the two storey premises at the site of a new supermarket development off Huddersfield Road at 11.45pm.
They spent around three quarters of an hour at the scene.
The fire is thought to have been caused by children playing with matches.
