Appeal after 17-year-old girl sexually assaulted in Elland
Police have released an e-fit image of a man who they are trying to trace after a 17-year-old female was sexually assaulted on Huddersfield Road, Elland.
The incident happened on Thursday, July 24, between 6.55am and 7.07am near to the junction of Rosemount Avenue. The incident was one of sexual touching.
DC Katy Butler of Calderdale Safeguarding, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about the man pictured or any witnesses to the incident to get in contact. The victim was left visibly distressed as she ran away down Huddersfield Road.
“The man we want to speak to in connection with the incident is described as a white man aged between 65 and 70.”
