Brighouse firefighters help lift man from River Aire
Firefighters from Brighouse were called to Leeds this morning to help lift a man out of the River Aire.
The incident happened at round 11am this morning when the man refused to come out of the river for around half-an-hour.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called to the scene, with five fire engines in attendance, before he was eventually helped out of the water with a ladder.
The man was then arrested by police.
