Police officers in Calderdale are investigating reports of an attack

The incident happened at around 7pm yesterday (April 22) on Dewsbury Road, Elland, .

A 36-year-old male was assaulted by another man close to the Rock Tavern.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said the victim attended hospital following the assault.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
