Career criminal raided Halifax homes only months after prison release

A career criminal has been jailed after numerous house burglaries and theft of motor vehicles.

Philip Brindley committed night time offences, in April this year, in the Luddenden Foot area of Halifax only months after his prison release for similar offences.

Brindley who has connections to Todmorden was tracked down by Calderdale officers to an address in Greater Manchester.

He was sentenced to six years and four months imprisonment when he appeared at Bradford Crown Court.
