Firefighters called to suspected arson attack
A car was set on fire on its owners drive in what is suspected to be an arson attack.
Firefighters from Illingworth were called to the incident on Luddenden Lane, Luddenden Foot, at 4.20am this morning (Tuesday) where a Nissan Juke was alight.
A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire but was unable to stop it spreading to a second vehicle parked on the drive and a fence.
Nobody was injured.
Firefighters, who were at the scene for around an hour, suspect deliberate ignition.
The police were also in attendance.
