Man suffers extensive head injuries after being attacked in Hipperholme - police appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered extensive head injuries after being attacked by two men in Hipperholme.

The attack happened at around 8.20pm on Wednesday, July 3, on Halifax Road outside Lees buildings near the traffic lights.

The male victim received extensive head injuries, including a suspected broken nose, as well as grazes and cuts to his body.

The first suspect is described as a white man with tanned skin, of stocky build, wearing a light coloured vest. The second suspect is described as a white man with paler complexion than the first man, smaller in height, again of stocky build and wearing a vest.

PC Sarah Brown, of Halifax Police, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the disturbance at this time to contact police on 101.”
