Man suffers facial injuries in Halifax town centre assault

A man suffered injuries to his face after being attacked by an unknown assailant in Halifax town centre.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault which happened on Commercial Street, near to the junction with King Edward Street, between midnight and 1am on Sunday, September 21.

The victim was standing near to the Halifax cash machine when he was assaulted by the unknown assailant and sustained facial injuries.
