Police hunting Halifax career criminal who is on the run

Police have issued an image of a career criminal from Halifax who went on the run after being recalled to prison.

Calderdale CID urgently want to speak to anyone who has information about or who has seen Neville Elliott - aka Banfield.

Elliott has been on the run since October 2014 and is wanted in connection with a number of offences of house burglary involving vulnerable old people.

Although from Halifax, over the last nine months Elliott is known to have been staying in Blackpool, Preston and more recently Longsite and Cheetham Hill, Manchester.

Anyone who has seen Elliott should call Calderdale CID via 101.
