Police issue image of man they want to speak to following Halifax town centre attack

A man was knocked unconscious and suffered severe head injuries following a Halifax town centre attack.

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault which happened inside and outside Dixy Chicken on Wards End at around 11.30pm on Saturday, July 19.

Detective Inspector Chris Wood, of Calderdale CID, said: “The male pictured is believed to have been involved and we would welcome any information which may result in identifying him.”
