Police need help to find missing West Yorkshire man

Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing West Yorkshire man who is believed to be in the Cumbria area.

Steven Heeson, 44, who was reported missing on Monday, April 14, was last seen leaving his home address in Batley at around 10.30am.

He is described as around 6 ft 4 ins tall, of large build, with short, brown hair. It is believed he may be wearing bright blue Adidas trainers.

Detective Constable Mike Parris, of Dewsbury CID, said: “I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen Mr Heeson to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101. Similarly, if Mr Heeson sees or hears this appeal himself I would ask him to make contact with either the police or his family to confirm he is safe and well. We believe he may be in either the Cockermouth or Whitehaven areas.”
