Ripponden crash: Three people rushed to hospital after crash near Calderdale reservoir

The accident happened on Ripponden Road, near Baitings Reservoir, at about 7.15pm on Friday.

A silver Ford Fiesta travelling towards Ripponden was involved in a collision with a pink Mazda MX5 travelling in the opposite direction.

Police said three people needed hospital treatment and described their injuries as “not believed to be life-threatening”.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has footage which may help police with their investigation is being asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101 or by using the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
