Six men locked up

Six men from Calderdale have either been jailed or sent to a young offenders institution for a range of crimes including robbery, burglary and producing drugs.

Luke David Teal was sentenced to 20 months in a young offenders institution for robbing his victim at a cash point in Halifax. Prosecuting was Miss Bronia Elizabeth Hartley and the officer in the case was DC Marcus Southwell.

A judge sentenced Carl Michael Hannam to nine months imprisonment after convicting him of carrying out a sneak-in burglary in Saville Park. Prosecuting was Miss Stephanie Jane Hancock and the officer in the case was DC Rebecca Lawrence.

Paul Anthony Horner was sentenced to 44 months imprisonment for carrying out a burglary in Hipperholme. Prosecuting was Mr Simon Nicholas Haring and the officer in the case was DC Joanne Nicholls.

Jack Maguire was sentenced to 20 months detention in a young offenders institution for a burglary in Greetland. Prosecuting was Mr Jeremy Mark Lindsay and the officer in the case was PC Will Burgess.

Kieron John Cassidey was jailed for 40 months for a burglary in Ovenden and producing cannabis. Prosecuting was Miss Abigail Langford and the officer in the case was DC Anil Seepujak.

Luke Jaceson Green was given four years imprisonment for carrying out a robbery in Sowerby Bridge. Prosecuting was Mr Dale Brook and the officer in the case was DC Gordon Little.

All the men appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court.
