Thousands of pounds and large amount of class A drugs seized in Halifax drugs bust

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

On July 18 officers from the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a drugs warrant at an address in Halifax.

Within the the property officers found a large quantity of Class A drugs and thousands of pounds in cash, both of which were seized.

Two people, a male and female were arrested from inside the address.

A spokesperson for the NPT said: "This warrant came under Operation HINDMEN which was set up in June 2020 to target Organised Crime Groups involved in Drugs Supply and Violent Disorder in Park Ward and King Cross.

"Since launching, large quantities of Class A drugs, money and cars have been seized from criminals including a number of “stash cars”, a vehicle used to store drugs, which were seized following community intelligence."
