Updated: Baby girl who died in Bradford named - mother still critical
The two-year-old girl who died in an incident at a house in Bradford on Tuesday has been named as Amrita Kaur.
Amrita, whose 36-year-old mother was arrested on suspicion of her murder on Wednesday, was taken to hospital following the incident in Delamere Street, but died a short time later.
On Tuesday night, a postmortem revealed that Amrita’s injuries were consistent with a fall.
Her mother remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, but are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101.
