Updated: Three men arrested after vehicles were stolen from driveway in Brighouse

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after three vehicles were stolen from the driveway of a property in Brighouse.

The vehicles were taken from an address in Woodhouse Lane.

The police helicopter was sent out to search for the vehicles at 1.45pm yesterday (Thursday) and managed to help recover a Jaguar, which was fitted with a tracking device. The other two vehicles were subsequently recovered by police.

Three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, have been arrested and were being questioned last night.

Detective Inspector Chris Wood, at Calderdale CID, said: “Following the report of a burglary in Woodhouse Lane, Brighouse on Thursday, May 15, all three stolen vehicles were subsequently recovered by police later that evening.

“Three men aged 18yrs, 19yrs and 20yrs have now been arrested and are currently being questioned.“
