Updated: Vehicles seized in swoops across Calderdale

Police have seized a number of vehicles for various motoring offences this morning (Monday, February 3).

The first incident at around 9am, involving a driver from Leeds, saw a vehicle seized at the Hartshead Moor Services on the M62 at Brighouse. The driver had no insurance although it is believed his former partner failed to pass on reminder notices.

The second incident at 11am on Queens Road, Halifax, saw a blue Nissan Micra seized, with the driver having no insurance and no valid driving licence.

In the final incident at King Cross, Halifax, the 28-year-old male driver of a green Ford Focus had his vehicle seized for having no insurance and no valid driving licence.
