The luxury car was stopped by officers from the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team

The road traffic stop was carried out by officers after they identified the car had no MOT.

Further checks were conducted and it was confirmed that the vehicle had not been through an MOT since 2016.

A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Please ensure you know when your vehicle needs checking that it is roadworthy.

"You can be fined up to £1000 for not having a valid MOT on your vehicle.

"The driver of this luxury car was issued a traffic ticket and informed to take the vehicle off the road until it had a valid MOT."
