Crunch clashes for Calderdale’s teams

Calderdale is set for a big night of sporting action on Tuesday, October 7, as FC Halifax Town and Brighouse Town host former football league clubs.

FC Halifax Town v Altrincham at The Shay Stadium.

Welsh side Wrexham will be heading to The Shay to take on FC Halifax Town in a Vanarama Conference clash while Brighouse Town welcome fallen giants Darlington to their St Giles Road ground, Hove Edge, for their Evo Stik Northern Premier League encounter.

Bumper crowds are expected at both matches as fans anticipate one of the biggest games of each club’s season.

Both teams are looking to bounce back from setbacks at the weekend.

FC Halifax Town suffered their first home defeat of the season against Altringham, while Brighouse went down 2-0 at Lancaster City.
