Death not thought to be suspicious after discovery of human remains in Scholes

A death is not being treated as suspicious following the discovery of human remains.

The remains were found on Wednesday in an area off Scholes Lane, Scholes, and a forensic post mortem has now found the deceased to be a man aged between 30 and 50 years old.

Inspector Mark Truelove, from Kirklees District CID, said: “As a result of the post mortem we do not believe the death was suspicious but further tests will now be undertaken to establish an identity.”
