Determined David's charity effort

A man has raised hundreds of pounds for a charity close to his heart by completing the Great North Run.

David Woolley presented a cheque for £600 to the Huddersfield and District Army Veterans Association.

David, 69, of Brighouse, completed last year’s Great North Run to raise funds for the organisation - a group close to his heart.
