Elland road closed after serious road crash
Elland Road is currently closed after a road crash this afternoon.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to the scene, near Cromwell Bottom, at around 1.25pm.
It’s thought a cyclist has been very seriously injured in a collision with a car.
From Brighouse, the road is closed just after the Brookfoot Lane but vehicles can get to Southowram.
There is no access on the road from Elland, traffic will need to go via Rastrick.
