Familiar name appointed at Shibden Mill
After graduating from Manchester University in 2012, Max embarked on a career in retail management before exploring the world of travel and tourism, during which time he worked at a hotel in South America and taught English for a year at a school in Thailand.

Hide AdShibden Mill Inn had its most successful awards year to date in 2015, winning five nationally recognised awards that included being crowned Great British Pub of the Year, the nation’s Best Freehouse, Yorkshire Pub of the Year and Les Routiers Inn of the Year.
It recently won bronze in the Tourism Pub of the Year category at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2016.
