Les Dennis took a break from his panto rehearsals to visit staff and patients at Overgate Hospice.
Staff and patients were over the moon to sit and chat with the star and ask for selfies while Les presented a special version of Family Fortunes.
Les read out questions to Day Hospice staff who had the board game ready and waiting for him.
Naomi Shuttleworth, Activities Coordinator at the Hospice said; ‘We were thrilled to be able to welcome Les, there was a real sense of excitement from the team and our patients.
“Les very kindly played a game of Family Fortunes with our patients and they all enjoyed sitting and talking to the star and asking all about his career. ’
The team chatted to Les about the Hospice’s increasing running costs and the events they hold to raise funds.
Laura Golding, Director of Income Generation said; “It really gave all staff and patients a boost to see Les and we want to thank him for taking the time out of his schedule to spend time with us.”
