The fundraising team at Overgate need to raise £6,900 every day to keep the hospice open and the girls’ sponsorship goal of £1,050 will help to add vital funds to the pot.

Laura, the organiser of the event, said she was keen to smash that target.

“That Trina and Tracey have agreed to join me goes a long way to show the extent to which we really are a family at Overgate, and I believe that with their support and that

of our wonderful community we will raise more than our target amount, in addition to our heart rates.”
