Festival fever comes to town

The final line up of the Brighouse Arts Festival has been announced with acts set to light up the stage.

Six days of music, dance, drama, literature and visual arts will transform the town between September 21 and 26

This year sees a wide range of activities to choose from and organisers have gone all out to provide something for every member of the family.

The festival now into its fourth year will be opened by Jenny Stafford (soprano) Katie Salter (mezzo soprano) and Rebecca Taylor (pianist) at the Smith Art Gallery and will be attended by the Mayor of Calderdale Councilor Lisa Lambert and her consort

In addition the week will offer a wide range of musical performances from the well-established Brighouse and Rastrick Band, Calderdale Swing Band, the classical guitar duo of Peter Cain and Brian Perkins.
