Fireworks continue to light up the Calderdale sky this weekend

Bonfire Night celebrations continue tonight (Friday) in Calderdale.

Long Can Hall, Ovenden Wood, Halifax, is holding a bonfire and firework display tonight. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, with pie and peas served throughout the night.

Saturday will also see Northowram Community Sports and Activity Club host an evening of bonfire fun. Gates open 5pm, the fire will be lit 6pm, and the fireworks start at 7pm. Ticket price is £2.50 an adult and under 16s go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Admission price on the night is £3.

The weekend will be rounded off on Sunday, November 9, when Heath RUFC get into the spirit of the occasion. The bar at the club at West Vale will be open from 4pm and the bonfire will be lit at approximately 7pm.
