Fun for all at Rastrick Library events

The Friends of Rastrick Library have lined up two events next month to help raise funds for their access project.

The group is hosting a quiz evening on Thursday, February 5, at 7pm. Entry to the quiz is £2.50 per person, ideally with teams of four people.

A hot supper and wine is also included in the entry price. All the money raised will go towards helping to improve disabled access to the building, or putting on activities and events for the community. Tickets need to be booked in advance. The Friends of Rastrick Library will also be marking National Libraries Day on February 7.

From 10am to 1pm, there will be a range of activities laid on bythe library groups including the knit and natter group, the craft group and local history group.

The pre-school group will be laying on some fun crafts and activities for children, including stories and a book character hunt.
