Halifax Civic Trust postpone their annual awards

The Halifax Civic Trust have confirmed the postponement of their annual awards due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Trust say their plan is to keep the awards alive and have a double event in May 2021 reflecting buildings and projects completed in 2019 and 2020.

They envisage that there will be two awards given at that time together with commendations.

Alan Goodrum, from the Trust, said: “You can submit further ideas at any time and our website and social media will be updated to reflect this.

“Do keep in touch with your ideas and suggestions, and any further details you think might be relevant if you have already submitted an idea.

“Best wishes and stay safe at this challenging time.”
