The men, one aged 63 from Todmorden, and two others aged 64 and 42 from Aberystwyth were arrested on Thursday on suspicion of fraud, as a result of the Food Standards Agency’s investigation into the use of horse meat in the food chain.

Officers, meanwhile, remained at Farmbox Meats near Aberystwyth throughout the day yesterday, and inquiries there are set to continue.
